This committee focuses on promoting global health equity by ensuring that essential medicines are accessible to all, especially in developing countries. Delegates will explore the role of intellectual property laws, international cooperation, and policy making in addressing disparities in healthcare access. The committee encourages discussion on innovative solutions, ethical considerations, and collaborative strategies to improve public health worldwide.
This year’s topic is Ensuring equal access to essential medicines in developing countries through intellectual property reform and international cooperation. Delegates will analyze how laws and global partnerships can help make life saving medicines available to those who need them most.
