The Full Story

ASTMUN began last year as an initiative by our school’s debate club, sparked by a passion for global issues and diplomacy. What started as a small event quickly became a successful conference, inspiring both participants and organizers to continue growing it.

Expanding Opportunities
After its first edition, ASTMUN now offers committees for both middle and high school students, giving delegates a platform to debate global issues, propose solutions, and develop critical skills like negotiation, leadership, and teamwork.

A Unique Experience
As one of the only Model United Nations conferences in Honduras, ASTMUN provides a rare opportunity to experience international-style diplomacy firsthand. Each edition fosters collaboration, learning, and connections that last well beyond the conference.
